1. Summary

  • No account. You never sign up or sign in.
  • Your data stays on your device. Plants, journal, plans and settings never reach our servers — we have no access to them.
  • No tracking, no ads. The App contains no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
  • Location only for rainfall. If you set it, the approximate coordinates of your garden are sent to Apple Weather solely to fetch rainfall totals.
  • Payments are handled by Apple. We never see card details or the buyer's identity.

2. Data controller

The controller for the Expo Ogrody App and this website is JET CREATIVE LTD, registered in England and Wales under number 07591183, 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom, e-mail: contact@jetcreative.co.uk.

The Expo Ogrody brand is used with the permission of Expo Ogrody sp. z o.o., ul. Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej 12, 50-381 Wrocław, Poland, e-mail: biuro@expoogrody.pl. If you send that company a service enquiry, e-mail or text message, or call it, Expo Ogrody sp. z o.o. becomes a separate controller of the data in that correspondence (section 6).

3. Data stored on your device

The App stores the following information only locally on your device (in the App's storage). It is never sent to the Provider's servers:

DataPurpose
Plants, journal entries, notes, watering datesGarden journal and watering schedule
Garden plans (sketches, plant positions)Garden planner and crop-rotation warnings
Completed seasonal tasks and task notesGuide and season progress
First name (optional), experience level, garden type, saved tipsGreeting and personalisation
Garden location (coordinates and place name), rain threshold, downloaded rainfall totalsRainfall feature
Name, phone, e-mail (optional)Pre-filling enquiries about Expo Ogrody services
Suggestions for missing plantsPreparing a catalogue request
Settings (appearance, reminder time), subscription statusApp operation, including offline

This data may be included in your device backup (iCloud or computer) according to your Apple settings — you control that backup, not us. Deleting the App removes the data from your device. CSV export creates a file that you save or share yourself.

4. Location and weather data

4.1. The rainfall feature is optional. You can set your garden's location by searching for a town or tapping "Użyj mojej lokalizacji" (Use my location). In the latter case iOS asks for permission and the App obtains a one-time, approximate position (accurate to about 1 km). The App does not track your location in the background.

4.2. To fetch rainfall totals, the App sends your garden's coordinates to Apple WeatherKit (Apple Weather). Converting a place name to coordinates and back uses Apple's geocoding service. Apple processes these requests under its privacy policy and states that it does not use them to identify users.

4.3. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings and change the saved garden location in the App (Więcej → Opady i lokalizacja ogrodu). Deleting the App removes it from your device.

Weather data source: Weather.

5. Notifications

Watering and task reminders are local notifications scheduled by iOS on your device. We do not use server push notifications and do not store notification tokens. You can withdraw permission in iOS Settings or turn reminders off in the App.

6. Service enquiries and contact

6.1. When you send a service enquiry, suggest a missing plant or write to us, the App only prepares the message and opens the Mail, Messages or Phone app. You send the message yourself — the App sends nothing in the background.

6.2. Messages sent to biuro@expoogrody.pl or to Expo Ogrody's phone number are received by Expo Ogrody sp. z o.o., which processes the data they contain (e.g. name, phone, e-mail, service description) to reply, prepare a quote and possibly enter into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Expo Ogrody sp. z o.o. may forward reports about the App to the Provider to the extent needed to handle them.

6.3. Messages sent to contact@jetcreative.co.uk are processed by Jet Creative Ltd to handle your request.

7. Payments and subscriptions

7.1. Purchases are handled by Apple via the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive payment data — we cannot see your card number, address or identity.

7.2. The App only checks whether your Apple Account holds an active subscription entitlement and remembers that status locally so it works offline. Sales reports we receive from Apple are aggregated and contain no personal data.

8. Beta (TestFlight)

8.1. If you test the App via TestFlight, Apple shares test-related data with us: your name and e-mail address (if you joined by e-mail invitation; via a public link only if you provide them), installation and session information, and crash reports, feedback and screenshots you choose to send.

8.2. We use this data only to run the test programme and fix bugs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Apple's TestFlight privacy information.

9. Crash reports

If you agree in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with anonymised crash reports and stability statistics. They do not identify you and are used only to improve the App. You can withdraw consent in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

10. No tracking or advertising

10.1. The App contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs (we do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Meta SDK or similar tools).

10.2. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, so the App does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt.

10.3. We do not sell, rent or trade data with anyone.

11. This website

11.1. moje.expoogrody.pl does not use cookies, analytics or advertising pixels.

11.2. The hosting server may automatically log your IP address, visit time, page address and browser type for security and operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for a short period set by the hosting provider.

11.3. The site uses Google Fonts. When fonts are loaded, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address (Google privacy policy).

13. Recipients and international transfers

  • Apple Inc. and affiliates — App distribution, payments, TestFlight, Apple Weather, geocoding. Apple acts as an independent controller for its services.
  • Expo Ogrody sp. z o.o. — recipient of service enquiries and correspondence sent to it.
  • Website hosting provider and Google (fonts) — as described in section 11.

The controller is based in the United Kingdom, which benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision. Apple and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

14. Retention

  • Data in the App — until you delete it or delete the App.
  • E-mail correspondence — up to 24 months after the matter is closed, unless the law requires longer.
  • TestFlight data — for the duration of testing, under Apple's rules.
  • Website server logs — per the hosting provider's settings, usually no longer than 30 days.

15. Your rights

For data we control, you have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20), to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) and to withdraw consent at any time.

Send requests to contact@jetcreative.co.uk. We reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest. Because we do not keep App data on our servers, you control most of it directly on your device — you can edit, export or delete it.

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office, in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), or the authority in your EU country of residence.

16. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data. Because data stays on the device, we do not process information about users' ages on our servers.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy, for example when we add new features. The current version is always available on this page, and we will announce material changes in the App or on the website. This Policy is also available in Polish (Polityka prywatności).
